How are you making your wedding day unique?
My fiance and I are trying to plan a beautiful wedding on a small budget. I know we can do it! Were both wanting a wedding that is unique and not so cookie cutter like. So were both trying to think outside the box when planning our wedding. What unique ideas are you doing at your wedding?

We’re having a Video Game and Movie themed wedding. Nothing too over the top, though. In between each song at the reception we’re going to play a small audio clip from a movie or video game, and at the wedding we’re having the Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark theme play after we are pronounced husband and wife because it’ll be our “greatest adventure.” Each table is going to be different in almost every way to specific movies or video games. We’re going to have a Heavy Rain table. It’s a PS3 video game. The place cards will be origami figures and when you unfold them it’ll tell you how to make them. The centerpiece will be white orchids. These are two things that are central parts of the video game. Things like that.

Oh lord, I wish I knew…
I’m terrible at this sort of thing.
We’re getting married on 6-13-09 – the idea that I had was to do cream colored tablecloths, with cream colored orchids, in chocolate brown square planters. Our colors are cream, brown, and green (leaves).
Another idea I had was to do a green dish filled with brown river rocks, with a gardenia blossom floating in water.
